A police officer was shot in the leg in Brooklyn on Friday morning, according to law enforcement sources.
NYPD officers responded to a report of shots fired in Bedford-Stuyvesant and kicked in the front door of a home on Kosciusko Street, sources said.
People ran out of the house and more shots were fired, sources said.
According to sources, one officer suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.
