Knicks owner James Dolan appeared to overshadow Mayor Zohran Mamdani when he told revelers “I don't need your vote” right after Hizzoner gave a speech filled with the history of the Knicks and their playoff run.
"I don't need your vote, I don't need to quote you, right, what happened," Dolan said, "because if you're real Knicks fans, you already know." Dolan's comments came after Mamdani mentioned dozens of former Knicks and recalled some of the most memorable memories in franchise history, including shouting out random former players like Jared Jeffries and Renaldo Balkman.
He also highlighted some of the team's most incredible postseason moments.
